- A two-part, sturdy tray box to house the cards.
- A 256-page guidebook, with extensive card meanings for each card, card spreads, and information on how to work with Shadow. The book is sized 5″ x 7″.
- The book and deck are not housed together. If you would like a way to keep them together, it is recommended that you purchase the SHADOW CARRIER.

What is Shadowspeak?
Our darker emotions are a powerful source of illumination.
This Shadowspeak deck will help you go into this starless space. In this dusky realm, you’ll be able to see the infinite wisdom shared by your Shadow.
Your Shadow carries your past. It carries uncomfortable (and necessary) emotions such as rage, loathing, and despair. And it carries you to safety. When you’re beat, Shadow has your back. Its darkness gives you rest and its sleep gives dreams. In infinite blackness, inspiration is limitless. There are no boundaries or edges.
Your Shadow is all these things. Anger. Reflection. Inspiration. Its traits are varied. It has reach.
This deck will help you speak to your Shadow. You will become fluent in Shadowspeak, the language of knowing yourself deeply.
In deep knowing, there are less limitations. Heights are reachable. Your patterns become predictable. You can steer your experience instead of it steering you.
The sixty cards in this deck all explore ways that the Shadow can behave and what it can offer you. Your Shadow might need to be angry, expressive, and opinionated. It might want to open locked doors and visit the past. It might want to soar through the milky way.
Shadowspeak is a deck that helps you access that which is elusive. What is silenced is spoken. What was limited, opens. In speaking Shadow, your path expands and your eyes widen.
Why Speak Shadow?
Shadow can be difficult to encounter, understand, and see. They are by definition, obscured and hidden. They hide from us, mostly because we have a negative view of them. I believe we can alter this perception.
Many current metaphysical practices and tools focus on enlightenment. It feels good to embrace a loving, open mindset that honors one’s strength. Understandably, these spiritual practices are attractive as they offer hope through despair.
However, these practices become problematic when difficult feelings, traumas, losses, and life circumstances are minimized. This is called spiritual bypassing, which in practice overlooks inherent grief and trauma in favor of more pleasant feelings such as peace, joy, and forgiveness. In other words, avoidance of the Shadows we carry.
This deck will help you see Shadow as integral to personal awakening. I believe that the destructive, leaden energies we carry give way to deeper understanding and luminescence. Darkness and shadow are holy, sacred places to travel to and explore. They are integral to the human experience and to a more complete picture of transcendence.
Shadow-spaces can also offer solitude. They are a place only you can enter. In them you’ll find protection and safety. In their quiet, you’ll reflect and review. Shadowspeak helps you strengthen the roads you take to get there, and fortify the home that is your reprieve.
