Psychic Painting and Reading Testimonial

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from Rebecca’s psychic painting and reading, but I’ve worked with many of her decks and taken a handful of classes, so I knew that the experience would tap into my life in insightful ways and I always trust her vision. She sent me a gorgeous painting of a woman walking on a tightrope under a sky marked by a big blue moon and a sun: the theme was balance and persistence, and her reading connected the card’s themes to specific elements of my daily life from my internal compass to my relationships and work life. A second painting of just the moon, a large blue/purple orb with a white halo around it, underscored the archetype that we are working with during this eclipse season. I spent several weeks reflecting on the reading and looking back at the specific wisdom of it: Rebecca’s insights were so deeply connected to this moment in my life, and her description of that moment felt revelatory and true. More surprisingly, several weeks after receiving her paintings, my partner proposed to me with a ring that is identical to the moon painting–a blue stone surrounded by a white circle–indeed, the artwork was so attuned to me that I am still shaking my head in wonder. I work as a curator and arts writer, and I am so happy to have these paintings live with me that I am going to frame them and hang them in my office. Training

I have been reading Tarot since 2011. Here are some of my credentials, skills, and talents:

• I am an author and publisher. 
  • I have written a book on animal totems and the lunar cycle. This book includes rituals and information about how to perform readings (The Creatures of the Moon Oracle Deck Guidebook). In addition to this project, I have created two tarot decks. These projects have helped me become an expert and innovator in my field.
• I’ve attended the largest conference for tarot in the world. 
  • I’ve attended the Reader’s Studio in New York twice, which offers master classes and workshops from readers at the forefront of the field. I have taken master classes with renowned individuals, including Mary Greer, Rachel Pollak, and Benebell Wen. I have also studied crystal casting, client projection, and various other divination forms and methods, which I incorporate into my sessions.
• I am an initiated Priestess and ordained Minister (2016).
  • I have found a spiritual path essential to my work as a reader and healer. Being initiated as a Priestess required strict study: Divination, healing modalities, psychic work, aura reading, and various other studies/requirements were met to complete this initiation.
• I have both a BFA and an MFA in Fine Arts, and I am well-versed in reading symbols.
  • I have been studying art since 1998. Tarot card reading requires an understanding of how to interpret images and symbols.
• I have a spiritual practice that my clients benefit from. 
  • A daily practice of meditation, healing, and spiritual work keeps me grounded and also strengthens my intuition, which my clients benefit from. In addition to my spiritual work, I have been a facilitator and participant in a closed group dedicated to expanding clairvoyant abilities.
• I’ve worked as a mental health advocate.
  • Before working as a Tarot Professional, I spent many years teaching and also worked as an Academic Advisor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). At SAIC I worked with students struggling in various capacities – academic, mental, and personal. As a teacher and mental health advocate, my training and work involved lending emotional support and advice to help my students achieve their highest potential. My background in teaching and advising has made me highly attuned to the human spirit, empathy, and the ability to help and serve others. Tarot reading is, after all, an act of reading the heart.
• I have completed Tarosophy’s 10-week certificate course. 
  • Tarosophy is an internationally recognized Tarot organization. I completed a 10-week certification course in 2015.
