Yall. I’ve been thinking about writing this post for weeks. I’ve already typed the last sentence over like five times already. Where to begin?

Nothing feels more demoralizing than spending a lifetime studying (and investing) in my art only to have it scraped by AI here on lG. I feel heartbroken. I feel graped.

Before this massive pillaging, things started changing. They took away your faces and filled my feed with useless 💩. There was no community, and the comments on my posts stopped.

I tried to figure out the algorithm once things changed, but I’m tired. Tired with it all.

I’m not deleting my account, but it’s tempting. Maybe I will in time. For now I’ve decided to spend way less time here and more time connecting in meaningful ways.

I have a Discord for private community. I have a Patreon for handmade psychic paintings, readings, and chatting. I would love to hang with you there and not on this evil gross plat form. You can check this stuff out on my Treelinks in my bio.

I also have a newsletter I send out every week, you can subscribe through my website.

Because I still need to make a living and this work is my everything, you’ll probably get a mug of me or occasional IG story about what’s up in my world. But art posting? Not so much.

My drawing area is small but it suits me fine 🎨🖌️. It’s hard to believe I made that giant gouache painting 16 years ago. Creativity has always been at the core of who I am. It keeps me alive, specially in the dark times we are going through. What are you all doing to take care of yourselves these days? What brings relief?
